This policy is governed by the Political Constitution of Colombia (Article 15), Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and any rules that amend or supplement them.

3. Data we collect

We collect the data you give us in this site's forms and WhatsApp chat, and the data you share when you talk to us:

• Name, email address and WhatsApp number.
• Business name and type, website or social media profile.
• Service you're interested in and approximate monthly ad spend.
• Browsing data and the campaign that brought you here (source, medium, campaign, and Google, Meta and TikTok click IDs).

We don't ask for sensitive data. If it were ever necessary, we'd ask for your express consent and tell you that you're not required to provide it.

4. How we use your data

• Respond to your requests and contact you via WhatsApp, email or phone.
• Schedule meetings, run audits and send you commercial proposals.
• Provide the services you hire, invoice, and meet legal and contractual obligations.
• Send you information about our services, content and events, if you consent. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• Measure and improve our website and our advertising campaigns.

By checking the consent box on our forms, or by giving us your data via WhatsApp, you give us prior, express and informed consent to process it under this policy. We keep proof of that consent.

6. Your rights

As the data owner, you have the right to:

• Access, update and correct your personal data.
• Request proof of the consent you gave us.
• Know how we've used your data.
• Revoke your consent or ask us to delete your data, when there's no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
• Access your personal data free of charge.
• File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), after first submitting your inquiry or claim to us.

7. How to exercise your rights

Email us at info@matixmedia.com.co with your name, ID number, your request and a way to contact you.

• Inquiries: we respond within ten (10) business days at most. If that's not possible, we'll tell you why and respond within five (5) additional business days at most.
• Claims (correction, update, deletion or non-compliance): we respond within fifteen (15) business days at most, extendable by eight (8) more business days with prior notice. If the claim is incomplete, we'll ask you to complete it within the following five (5) days; if two (2) months pass without a response, the claim is considered withdrawn.

8. Processors and transfers

To operate, we use providers that process data on our behalf, such as Google (Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. Some of these services store information on servers outside Colombia, including in the United States. We only share what's necessary for the purposes of this policy and require them to protect your data.

9. Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or misuse. We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes described or for the period required by law.

10. Minors

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don't intentionally collect data from children or teenagers.
